Goals of 6th Grade
As a sixth grader, there are three main goals to work towards:
Who is Mr. Walker?
Hello, I'm John Walker and I have been teaching for 12 years. I have taught fourth, fifth, and sixth grade, all of which have been in the Boise School District. This is my fourth year teaching sixth grade. I earned my Bachelor's degree from Boise State University in the spring of 2000. During the spring of 2006 I earned my Master's degree in Reading from Boise State.
In addition to teaching I have many side jobs and activities which require my time. After school and during the summer I teach driver's education at Kuna High School. I also help coach at Hoop Haven basketball camp. During the school year I coach girls and boys basketball and track. My goal for this classroom website is to create a central location for classroom assignments and information for students from home or at school. I'll end with a favorite quote of mine from a man who saw and did much in his lifetime: "Remember this, the choices you make in life, make you" -John Wooden- |
